SBC is different from the many other conferences on sustainability that occupy our calendars, as it wants to investigate the real, concrete, business actions that can be done today to start to change our economies.

Our objectives

To consolidate SBC as a place where all the involved stakeholders meet, debate and create new ideas about how to tackle the challenges of sustainability.
To favor the involvement of students in the discussion about sustainability, by raising awareness and create contacts with the other stakeholders.
To enhance HEC’s reputation as centre of excellence in the study and education about sustainable business.

On 22^nd March 2012, HEC will host its 9th annual Sustainable Business Conference dedicated to exploring the issues, challenges and current developments in sustainable businesses around the world.

The theme for this year’s conference, “Smart Cities, Smart Sustainability”, will focus on the need for development of Smart Cities and what progress has been made towards establishing them. The proposed discussions will be centered on the roles of Energy, Infrastructure & Mobility and Social Business in the creation, development and sustenance of Smart Cities.

Smart Cities. Smart Sustainability will bring together a cohort of Professionals, Corporations, Entrepreneurs, Students and Academics committed towards shaping a brighter future.
