Bernarnd Garrette
Bernard Garrette is Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris and Associate Dean for the HEC MBA. He earned its Master degree from the HEC “Grande Ecole” in 1985 and his Ph.D. from HEC in 1991. His research interests focus on cooperative and sustainable strategies. He has published several articles on strategic alliances between firms in various journals (Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Research Policy, European Management Journal, etc.) as well as papers on “Base Of the Pyramid” strategies, in California Management Review and Stanford Social Innovation Review.
He has co-authored several books with Pierre Dussauge, including Les Stratégies d’Alliance (1995) which won the McKinsey award for best management book published in France, and Cooperative Strategy (1999). He is also the main editor and one of the authors of Strategor (2009), the leading strategic management textbook in France.
Bernard Garrette has been a visiting professor at London Business School (1997 and 1999) and at the University of Cambridge (1995-1996). He has also worked as a consultant (Senior Practice Expert in Corporate Finance and Strategy) with McKinsey&Company in 2000-2001. In 2004, he received the Pierre Vernimmen Teaching Award, endowed by BNP-Paribas. In 2009, he was awarded the Pedagogical Innovation prize, sponsored by the HEC Foundation. In 2010, the EFMD and the UNDP awarded him a case writing prize in the “inclusive business models” category. He was appointed Associate Dean for the MBA program in January 2011.

Jean Michel Gauthier
Jean-Michel Gauthier is Deloitte Corporate Finance’s Global Leaderer responsible for Energy & Resources. In addition, Jean-Michel is Affiliate Professor of Energy Economics & Finance at HEC Paris. He has over 20 years of energy sector experience. After 12 years at Total as a director of oil and gas project development, he joined Deloitte in 2001 where he runs a multi-disciplinary practice of highly qualified professionals. He is Ancien Elève de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris; he is Agrégé de l’Université and holds a Research Master in Politics. He has advised several large energy groups, governments, as well as the European Commission, and is today a recognised expert on energy regulations, markets and economics.

Andrea Masini
Andrea Masini is an Associate Professor in the Operations Management and Information Technology Department at HEC Paris. Andrea has interdisciplinary research interests, with a special emphasis on the operational and organizational impact of sustainable technological innovations. He is author of numerous articles appeared in both academic and practitioner-oriented journals, including M&SOM, the Journal of Operations Management, Industrial and Corporate Change and Energy Policy. He has taught courses on Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Technology Strategy at the MBA, executive as well as at the PhD level in numerous international institutions. Prior to joining HEC Paris, Andrea was Assistant Professor of Operations and Technology Management at the London Business School. He has a background in mechanical engineering and environmental management and holds a PhD in technology management from INSEAD, France.

Benedicte Faivre Tavignot
Benedicte Faivre-Tavignot is co-founder and Executive Director of the Chair “Social business / Entreprise et pauvreté”, presided by Muhammad Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank and Nobel Price 2006; and Martin Hirsch.
She is also Academic Director of the HEC Masters in Sustainable Development, which she co-created in 2003.
She worked before 15 years in consulting and training, in Eurequip Consulting Group, and in Philips as controller.
She graduated from HEC (1988).

Médéric Jacottin
Médéric Jacottin Is the Head of External Relations of the GoodPlanet Foundation.
GoodPlanet, was founded in 2005 by French photographer and director Yann Arthus-Bertrand with the aim of raising public awareness on environmental issues and sustainable development. It encourages a way of life that is more respectful of the Earth and its inhabitants. It suggests realistic and optimistic solutions, and encourages each individual to take action for the Planet. It has branches in Belgium and Switzerland,a total of 35 staff and a budget of 5 million Euros.
Médéric Jacottin holds a Master Degree in International Relations from Sciences-Po Paris and an Msc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh. After starting his career at the diplomatic desk of the French Presidency, he coordinated humanitarian and development projects in Africa and Central Asia for 4 years.
Since February 2010, as the Head of External Relations of the GoodPlanet Foundation, Médéric is in charge of fundraising, corporate and institutional partnerships, and development.

Patrick Delamaire
Patrick Delamaire is a coach / consultant helping large or small companies improve the performance of their geographically dispersed teams. His main expertise – based on experience, practice and research – is used by HEC Paris to train executive managers (Executive Education). He also assists non-profit organizations like Climate Reality (Al Gore’s team) and GoodPlanet (founded by Yann Arthus Bertrand).
Previously, Patrick occupied various senior management positions for more than 15 years in worldwide leading companies like Apple, VELUX, Pinnacle, in marketing and business development. For instance, he drove the sales development of iPod at Apple in all EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) countries.
Parallel to his coaching / consulting activities, Patrick leads research projects with HEC colleagues and he is Associate Professor at Polytech Paris-Sud (Saclay).
His fields of expertise are the management of dispersed teams, public presentations, market leadership and energy saving.
Patrick Delamaire graduated from HEC MBA in 1992 and Polytech Paris-Sud (Saclay, Engineer).

Anna Creti
After being a researcher at the Institut d’Economie Industrielle (IDEI – a research center), at LERNA (Laboratoire d’Economie des Ressources Naturelles, University of Toulouse I), then an associate Professor at the Bocconi University in Milan from 2005 to 2009, where she was also the Research Director at the Center for Research of Energy and Environmental Economics and Policy (IEFE), Anna CRETI joined the University of Paris West in September 2009. She then led the “Sustainable Development, Environment, and Public Economics” research group of the EconomiX Laboratory and was the Deputy Director of the Economics Department at the University of Paris West for a year. She is now the Deputy Director of the EconomiX Research Center. An internationally-renowned expert in the field of energy economy, Anna CRETI is in charge of the PEEES (Paris Environmental and Energy Economics Seminar) seminar that occurs twice a month and brings together 13 institutions working on the themes of energy and environment. Nominated in 2009 for the ENI award, she is a member of the Scientific Committee of the French section of the World Energy Council and a member of the Scientific Committee of the EnergyLab Foundation. She has published in several fiels journal such as Energy Economics, Resource and Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Journal of Regulatory Economics, Economics Bulletin,etc.

Silvio Bosetti
Born in Milan (Italy) and graduated in 1982 at “Politecnico di Milano”, with Master’s Degree in Mechanics Engineering
Widespread knowledge in the management of infrastructural investments, linked to the energetic range and to the services of public utilities.
Currently he is General Manager of Fondazione EnergyLab, a Foundation that groups the Lombardia regional government, AEM Foundation and Edison Foundation (created by energy companies A2A and Edison), the municipality of Milan, the University of Milan, the University of Milan-Bicocca, the Catholic University, Milan Polytecnic, Bocconi University and the research centre RSE. He is member and associate member in the main economic and technical Associations of the Energetic Sector, particular in the range of natural gas and water services.
From April 2006 he was President of “Fondazione Ordine Ingegneri Provincia di Milano”. He has been President and member of Committee of CONFSERVIZI LOMBARDIA and member of Committee with proxy for the quality and consumer areas (from 2003 to 2006).
He cooperates with many Research Centres and he is an important speaker, known in the national and international world, in several Courses, Seminars and Conventions.

Julien Dossier
Mr. Julien Dossier is the founder of Quattrolibri, an innovation consultancy focusing on designing and deploying low carbon strategies with assignments for senior executives in the automotive, railways, energy, consumer goods and infrastructure sectors. He led one of the tracks of the national research programme “rethinking cities in a post carbon society”, with funding from ADEME and the French Ministry of Ecology. His conclusions were published as the BETA Programme, outlining a coordinated plan tackling the Buildings, Employment, Transportation and Agrifood sectors (www.betaprogramme.org). He lectures on post carbon cities at HEC and Ecole des Mines (ISIGE). He started his career in New York with Compagnie des Signaux then moved to Europe with Reuters, reporting to the Editor in Chief, based in London.
Julien holds Masters degrees from HEC (Entrepreneurship) and CEMS (International Management)
