We will try to derive solutions that address the challenges of consumer demand and production supply with a net positive impact.

Positive Cities will not only need to maximize sustainability but also to guarantee access for every citizen to their basic needs: access to education, water and food. This panel will focus on lightening the solutions to combine a smart city with a high quality of life for the citizens.

January 22, 2012

Large investments in sustainable infrastructure are necessary in order to turn urban areas into Positive Cities. This track will focus on the different ways of generalizing positive infrastructures in the city and financing them. It deals with questions like how to industrialize the positive city and smart mobility and what kind of partnerships can be developed between public and private sectors to finance smart cities.
